One-piece, hand-hammered bells provide enhanced clarity, resonance, and projection. Yellow or gold brass varieties offer a wider range of tone color and timbre options.

Different plating options like gold valve caps/buttons with decorative finger buttons give the horn a special, elegant look and may subtly impact the tone color of the instrument.
